Nothing. ShowText Live has no accounts, no analytics and no tracking, and it never sends anything to us.
ShowText listens to the audio inputs you choose and turns speech into text on your device, using Apple's on-device speech recognition. Audio is not recorded or saved.
The transcript is saved on the Main Mac until you clear it. Remotes connected to that Mac receive it over your local network and do not keep a copy.
The Main Mac shares the transcript with the remotes you connect, directly over your own network, protected by the passcode you set. Nothing passes through the internet or any server of ours.
Translation uses Apple's on-device Translation. Apple may download a language the first time it is used; the text itself is translated on your device.
ShowText collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
